An old Christmas postcard from NYC (1931)

1931 Tree  - HIGH RES

In 1931 the first Christmas tree was put in front of the under construction Rockefeller Center by the construction workers who were building the new architectural complex. Since then the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree lighting ceremony has become a NYC tradition.
